i have seen some pathetic idiots and whiners in my time but those who claim that american christians are persecuted take the cake. the evidence? that some religious expression - especially if it is directly state-sponsored - is limited. maybe it shouldn't be in some of these cases. but "persecution"? only in the sense that rulers are persecuted by their subjects when their subjects occasionally petition them, in the sense that oppressors are persecuted by the people they oppress, in the sense that huge majorities are persecuted by tiny minorities and so on. look: y'all control the government of the united states, the richest, most militarized nation on earth. what the hell do you want? more coming.

I don't think that American Christians are persecuted, and I haven't heard much about this particular topic lately. I think the reason they aren't persecuted is because they aren't standing up and acting Christ-like, they are calling themselves Christians and acting however they want.
