the car company people are pathetic. $34 billion? christ. that's nothin. we're dropping $8 *thousand* billion on the bailout. we can certainly spare a couple hundred billion, or find it in the couch at the fed. why have "hearings" or make them come up with "plans"? dude: here's a suitcase of billion dollar bills. knock yerself out.

We'll ask for $20 billion now, and then next month, $20 billion more, and $20 billion the month after that. Pretty soon it'll add up to, as Texas oil men say, "real money."

The entire so called bailout money should all be put toward the National Endowment for the Arts and all the losing companies should be encouraged to get all Mavericky to solve their problems.
