just did my first magic gig: handling cards at the elementary school's "family fun day." i had a blast and the kids seemed to like it. flourishes (fans, table spreads, arm spreads) went over particularly well, maybe because i'm better at them at this point than sleights. anyway, i'm quitting my prof job monday.
