speaking of the airplane

i gave marion "the best of hot tuna" for christmas (features fundamental airplane alumni jorma kaukonen and jack casady). it's an amazing nostalgic journey; probably been almost thirty years since i heard some of these great songs. they were my litttle bro adam's (d. 1991 by heroin od) favorite band before he went punk. jorma kaukonen is such a sweet guitarist, especially on acoustic blues. i forgot how much harp they use: will scarlett was the player. jorma kaukonen, ian mackaye, and i all went to the same high school (wilson in nw dc); but i think they graduated. i got expelled. still, i bask in their glory.
