i heard a touching tribute to the brilliance of benedict 16, nee ratzinger, on cnn today. apparently he once delivered a memorable extemporaneous homily on the religious importance of beer . i was hoping for the appointment of a promiscuous, pro-choice female pope. but i guess we'll have our beer to get us through yet another papacy.
