watchin the "beer summit," which seems kind of clumsily handled. they should have decided whether this was a public or a private meeting. if it was private, then they should have done it without reporters and millions of photographers forty feet away: i can't even imagine what'd be like to be a cambridge cop in that situation in the rose garden. not exactly a good situation for anyone to express themselves without pile-driving self-consciousness. on the other hand, if you were going to do it publicly, then mic up and put a camera at the table. this just seems like useless grandstanding.
