um, yeah! wait, what? well, i guess they know what they're talking about. really, nobody knows better than they do. seriously, few institutions can know more about the persecution of the jews. ok i'll leave it there.

gotta admit, i remember when anarchists were less enthusiastic about state power than, say, socialists or members of the democratic party. now that appears to have reversed. you see this in greece, e.g., too: welfare-state anarchists! a new development in political taxonomy.

see the problem is that they identify themselves as being on the left. but there is nothing in leftism except statism. now their opposites (anarchists/libertarians) identify themselves as being on the right. but that aligns them with capitalism. it is very hard to be anarchist today. anyway. but people who are all about food stamps, disability benefits etc just should find another term: like johnkerryists or something.

so if you're looking for a solution to the papacy, i suggest sending in dr. dre: "we've got your motherfucking compound surrounded. put down the candy and let the little boy go. know what i'm sayin?" i realize that sending in dre is extreme. but he's already your real pope. if you didn't want to see dre, you shoulda listened to martin luther when you had the chance, beeahtch.

kerry: right a culture of secrecy. but ok, why isn't the secrecy all about screwing nuns? or grown-up parishioners? excessive masturbation? jesse james neo-nazi bigbusted tattoo models? or just with one another? really: how did y'all get into this? why are y'all so into it? how far back, e.g., does this little practice go? maybe they got it straight out of ancient rome or something: early popes and bishops reading petronius? why is this your particular metier, configuration, identity, over and over, here there and everywhere? what the hell are you teaching people? whom are you recruiting? (maybe pederasty is itself a recruiting tool?) see? it's a culture of secrecy and shame of course. there's a vow of celibacy, which i think would be difficult to keep. but why is it a culture of homosexual pederasty?

in all the coverage of the pederast priests, one question appears to be unaskable: why are so many priests into this? you know 'what do we do about this problem?' is one question. the other is: how did we get the point where you have hundreds (at least) of priests abusing thousands of boys in all the corners of the globe? is this supposed to be a coincidence or something? because it sounds to me more like a widespread well-known tolerated or encouraged practice, something one knows one is getting into as one heads into one's career or something. i don't know about you, but i can't look at a roman catholic priest without wondering. and that would include the whole hierarchy. you know you look at the pope and worry about the cover-up etc. but you also look at the pope and wonder about his...history of sexual expression.
