what went so entirely, horrendously wrong

so this piece in politico starts to explain, among other things, why romney's speech sucked so bad, even though people haven't seemed quite to realize that. the long and short of it is: they fired the writer (who, one presumes, is now exacting a hideous revenge by leaking the process as he sees it). it may even be that the most miserable moments, some of which are noted in my entry, were actually contributed by romney himself working under completely unnecessary time constraints.
