before i said that maybe greenwald should tone down the threats a bit, as when he was saying 'this will be the most destructive set of revelations in american history.' however, i think his response to the detention/interrogation of david miranda is more than appropriate: essentially: you want to play like that? i'm going to be a lot more aggressive from now on in my reporting. if we had the power, i'd suggest detaining and interrogating david cameron's wife. i'd release her unscathed after 9 hours if cameron awakens to the truth of what he is, but it might take years of recreational abuse visited upon her person to show him the meaning and value of freedom. certainly, miranda has as much right to detain and interrogate cameron and rummage through his stuff as cameron has to detain and interrogate miranda, and unlike cameron, he has a compelling moral justification for doing so. if you think that sentence is false, then you'll need an argument, and brother, you ain't got one.
