It always bothers me when progressives and liberals say stuff that is incredibly stupid or just knee-jerk reaction to some stimulous. There is a problem among true believers that is relevant largely to true believers...anyone who has not confused themselves with God can usually sense the absurdity of their silliness and maybe even stop...
So, the reaction to Dylan's superbowl commercials amazes me. Frankly, I'd rather he avoided it, but the Chrysler add is a paean to the American worker and Detroit; the Chobani Yougurt commercial is a silly use of a song from Blonde On Blonde to sell Yogurt. Too listen to people I normally regard as reasonably sane and pretty good analysts, he's not only violated the Holy of Holies, he's pissed in the Ark of the Covenant.
