so, mumbai is a horrendous mess, driven by the 'politician-builder complex' which is destroying all neighborhoods and dominating all space and charging out the wazoo, etc. some form of this has torn apart many or most major modern cities: robert moses's projects in nyc come to mind. now: what is the left's solution to this problem? more government regulation of the space? you are being very silly. okay how about the right's: well, we need to give more scope and autonomy to the builders. don't y'all see how stuck you are? and also: don't you see that you are on the same side? you are recommending the same thing under different names, and that has led to what we actually have.
