who owns bernie?

what surprises me more than anything else in the sanders/dnc info flap is that the dnc, and not the sanders campaign, controls the data generated by the sanders campaign. perhaps the party sucks all info in by offering the campaigns supposedly excellent software (which seems to have had extreme problems) for dealing with it? it's completely obvious that the dnc and the clinton campaign are one. now let that be a lesson to you: never lose control of your own data, bro! surely the party can't require that they themselves have exclusive ownership of data generated by campaigns? anyway, the situation does not appear to make sense. i'd be pretty psyched to see sanders run as an independent, though, and surely he's thinking that way now. i want to see both these parties disintegrate.
