many people exactly like you ask me, "oh, little crispy, what is your favorite film?" well, i have always admired orson welles, jean-luc godard, francois truffaut, alfred hitchcock, fellini, kurosawa. no doubt olivier's hamlet is somehow worthwhile. but all of these works pale in comparison to crank 2: high voltage. never before had film so profoundly plumbed the mysteries of the human heart itself, if any. it is an astonishing achievement in the filmic arts.
crank is also dank as shit. admittedly, the whole thing is impossible without the cinematic vocabulary developed by truffaut.
